Sorry this took so long to post. I had started it as a draft and kept forgetting to come back to it. Plus, with a very fast crawler, it's hard to get away to do much else. Ah, I remember the days when we could stick him in his swing, which he loved; he'd stay in there for an hour or more and Greg and I could get things done. The funny thing about it is that we thought it was hard back then. Ha!
Well well, 10 months old already. The months go by so fast. He's not really doing anything new as of late, just more of the same. His crawling is getting much faster. He can clear a room in a few seconds flat. He did start saying the word "juice." Only, it doesn't really sound like juice, so if you heard him say it, you wouldn't know he's saying juice, but Greg and I know. Oh, he is cutting an "eye" tooth. (I'd never heard this term before until Friday when I heard it from 2 different people). This will be his 5th tooth.
Here are some recent pictures....

Here we are getting ready to go for a walk around the neighborhood...
In the next series of shots, you can see that Luke was trying to get Greg's hat...
Here he is getting into a little trouble with the blinds...
Can't you tell there's "trouble" written all over his face....
Again with the trouble.... this time at the stairs...
Greg thought it was funny to stick a Puff on his nose....

Happy Easter 2006
Visiting the Easter Bunny at the Mall... He just laughed at him and wanted to grab his fur.
Quite an elaborate set...
At school, they brought in a real bunny and took all the kids pictures with it....
Here's the Easter Basket that I made for him. Those "eggs" are shaped like a train, a car and a plane; and they are filled with Luke's favorite - Puffs!!
Maybe next year we'll dye eggs and go on an Easter Egg hunt. I can't wait!

We have a crawler!
Sorry it's been a while since we updated the Blog, but the last time I tried to make an entry, I was almost done and ready to hit "Publish" when Blogger decided to shut down and I lost everything. I haven't been very motivated to come back to it, scared it will do the same thing to me again. Sure, I probably should have hit "save as draft" somewhere in the middle, but I didn't think about it. I can't place all the blame on Blogger. Another reason we haven't updated in a while is because we've been busy -- very busy!! Plus, with the time change, Luke wants to stay up later and later. And since I can't get anything done until after he goes to bed, that leaves very little time to get to all my chores.
Anyway, we have a crawler on our hands. Luke finally figured out how to move the hands and knees in such a way that he now gets where he wants to go. (As opposed to going backwards, which he was doing for a while). I have a feeling this phase won't last long, though. He's pulling up to standing every chance he gets. And has started "cruising." I have a feeling he'll be walking by the time he turns one year old!! And he's also started saying "mama" ... finally!! Of course, he's said "dada" for a while now and he babbles a lot using b's and g's. But I am so thrilled that his second word was mama!! I'm waiting for his next word to be kitty. He sure does love his kitty cats! If you ask him where his kitty cats are, he'll look all over the room for them. Oh, and just this weekend I taught him to wave when we say "bye."
Here are some pictures taken recently. I'll post Easter pictures later in the week.

Here he is in the bath... He LOVES taking a bath! But he HATES getting out and putting clothes back on.
I love this picture... it makes think it's Christmas and he's just gotten a train to play with.
Playing in a box... I don't know why we even buy toys!
Here he is eating his first saltine cracker and making some really funny faces. He got so excited about the cracker that he would squeeze it in his hand and crush it into a million pieces. After having to vacuum several times, I'm now rethinking the cracker thing. I think I'll stick with pop-in-your-mouth Puffs.
Here's my crawling boy caught in the act...
And here he is pulling himself up...
Here he is undoubtedly talking with his hands, as usual...
