Wow -- 3/4 of a year has gone by already! He's such a big boy now. He had his 9 month check up this morning. He weighed 20lbs and 9oz. And he was 28-1/4 inches long. His height and weight are completely average - in the 50th percentile. But his head circumference is in the 75th percentage. (I guess that means he's got a big brain)!
He's pulling up to standing every chance he gets. When he gets a hold of something, he wants to pull himself up. And his two top teeth are starting to poke through. He really wants to crawl, but when he gets into position, his hands and feet don't move correctly. Most of the time he ends up going backwards. Best of all is his sweet little personality. He loves to give hugs!!
Here he is pulling up on the coffee table...
How cute is he in his dinosaur pajamas??
And nevermind the long stream of drool hanging from his mouth...
I love this picture....
We also have pictures of his baptism to post, but Blogger is being very slow. I'll have to post them later in the week. So stay tuned!

More pictures
Well, I promised more pictures by the end of the week.... So here you go!
His cute little shirt says, "HELP! I'm crawling and I can't get up."
Poor thing... I think he got his momma's thighs...
Looks like he's doing his stretches...
Here we are at the park...
Luke was sitting in the floor eating some Puffs. Of course Pumpkin, the furry vacuum cleaner, was close by. She was just waiting for him to drop a few Puffs.
And he did...
And here are some pictures I took of Pogo and Comet.... isn't that sweet??

Fun with the Little Guy
The "little guy" is growing so fast -- we're going to have to start calling him the "big guy." But there's nothing new to report... just more of the same. Those teeth are really coming in now. And he really wants to crawl - he wants to go places, but he hasn't quite figured it out how to get those knees under him. He can scoot where he wants to go, though.
Here are some new pictures we took over the last week...
Click on the pictures to enlarge and right-click to save to your computer.
Here we were playing before bed one night... He kept blowing bubbles with his mouth so everytime I took a picture, he had this funny look on his face. And as you can see in the background, we were watching American Idol. (Go Taylor)!
I am very proud of my new yard sale find... this table toy for Luke. He just loves it. He squeals in delight because he can stand up and play with it. (Someone, of course, has to sit behind him to catch him when he falls, though).
Pumpkin loves his new toy too....
Here he is in the highchair before dinner. He sure does love these Puffs! The funniest thing, though, is how they stick to his hands, face, clothes, etc. He's doing really well trying to feed himself.
We were cracking up at him because no only does he have the Puffs stuck everywhere, but he's babbling the whole time he's eating them. We haven't taugh him yet how to chew with your mouth closed.
This was my favorite picture.... I guarantee he was talking while he was chewing, hence the funny face....
Finally, here are the teeth. You can see them really good in this picture!
(Just look at those gorgeous blue eyes)!
There are more pictures, but I'll save them for later this week. I'm tired and going to bed now.
