A Day at the Park!

Today we met our friends Matt and Laura down at the park for some fun with the kids. It was Luke's first time in a real swing. Here are some pictures:

Luke is 7 months old!!

And as cute as ever! He's so interactive now, and he's got a fun little personality. It's so easy to make him laugh. And he's very ticklish. You can get him chuckling by doing the simplest little thing. Right now he thinks it's so funny when you make a clicking sound with your tongue.

Luke loves his 'kitty kitties'!! As you can see by this series of pictures, the cats love him too. But poor Luke has to share his toys with the cats.

And the fun doesn't stop there... Pumpkin was helping me clean up after dinner by licking Luke's hands!

Pig Boy!

I think Luke grows a little more every day. I can't believe how big he's getting! Our new nickname for him is 'Pig Boy,' because he eats so much! Before he goes to bed, he usually eats a serving (or two) of baby food. (Sweet potatoes is his favorite). And then he eats a 7- or 8-oz bottle before bed. You would think that would keep him happy all night long. But he still wakes up around 3 or 4am to eat about 6-oz more! See - that's why we call him Pig Boy!
Anyway, he's doing really well sitting up on his own. And he's starting to figure out how to move around. I haven't actually seen him crawl or anything. But Mr. Houdini knows how to do things when I'm not watching. For example, I'll go lay him down in his crib on his tummy and ten minutes later I'll come up to check on him and he's on the other side of the crib, turned 180-degrees and on his back. I don't know how he does it.





And you gotta have a 'naked baby' pic to show all their girlfriends when they get older....



And since his favorite thing to do is eat, I'll incude some pictures of him eating...

And we're trying to get him to learn how to hold his own bottle... he's doing so well...

Luke's First Christmas!!

And what an exciting weekend it was!! It was Luke's first trip to Cleveland; his first overnight away from home; his first full church service; and his first Christmas!!! Wow! And he was such a good little boy!!
